Alvarez & Marsal combines hands-on Asset Management expertise with advanced AI capabilities to transform operational data into faster, more reliable and actionable decisions.

Led by CAMA-certified professionals and supported by A&M’s AI Lab, this initiative will explore practical applications of Artificial Intelligence across the asset lifecycle. Potential use cases include maintenance optimization, failure prediction, work-order prioritization, reliability analysis, spare-parts and inventory management, operational risk identification and technical knowledge management.

The solution can integrate structured and unstructured information from ERP and CMMS platforms, maintenance histories, equipment manuals, inspection reports and operational data. Advanced analytics and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) can then be applied to identify patterns, generate insights and provide decision-support dashboards or AI-powered assistants for engineering, maintenance and operations teams.

The proposed approach includes:

2. Assessment and structuring of available asset and maintenance data

3. Development of AI-enabled analytics, dashboards and decision-support tools

4. Validation of outputs with technical and operational specialists
