Trusted AI Inspection by TÜV TRUSTIFAI

The Trusted AI Inspection provides an independent and structured assessment of the trustworthiness of a specific AI system.

TRUSTIFAI by TÜV AUSTRIA evaluates both technical and organizational aspects, including system context and boundaries, governance and responsibilities, risk management, robustness and performance, transparency and explainability, fairness, documentation and evidence, monitoring and lifecycle controls - along the criteria of the TÜV TRUSTIFAI Trusted AI Catalogue created by the researchers currently bringing the EU AI Act into action.

The inspection combines evidence review, expert interviews and technical evaluation to provide a clear and objective view of the system’s strengths, risks and improvement areas. The result supports management decisions and can provide valuable independent evidence for customers, partners, investors, procurement processes, due diligence or future certification activities.

The service is particularly relevant where trust in an AI system needs to be demonstrated beyond the provider’s own claims.
